Take THAT, Mama!

Remember when I said I had to give mama a big "what-for" lecture about posting for Beau's return after almost 5 years gone? And about me saying her glass was three-quarters empty? Well, mama just read this story in "Dog Fancy" Magazine, then found an online story about it. To read the story, CLICK HERE.

I've waited a year and a half to say this to someone: I TOLD YOU SO.

Wow! What a great story! We hope Beau will find his way back home, too.
Thank you for tagging us! We enjoyed reading some facts about you and we've been hoping to get tagged with this one for a while. We'll think on it a little bit and post it ASAP!

That is SUCH a cool story, Izzie! You should let Beau's mom know about that - it'll give her renewed hope!

Dear Izzie
Please thank your mum for emailing me this story. I think she's got your message. Thank you both for caring about Beau.
Recently in Australia there have been 2 cases of dogs missing 3+ to 4+ years who have been found. One dog was microchipped but he got away from the hoomans who stole him. This is usually the only time a stolen dog or lost dog is found through a microchip because in Australia the majority of vets don't scan the dogs for a microchip and don't check that the person with the dog legally owns the dog. The other case was a lady who phoned mum just before Christmas very distraught. To cut a long story short her dog Becky was frightened in a storm, a man found her and kept her. Almost 4 years later her parents happened to be in the right place at the right time and saw Becky locked in a car in a shopping centre. They followed the man home. He refused to give Becky back but because her owner, Rachel knew her legal rights, he did give Becky back but they had to pay him $1500 even though he was a criminal.
In both cases the dogs had not forgotten their legal owners and they were both besides themselves with happiness to be able to come back to their own homes.
Dogs should not be forcibly taken away from their mums and their dads. They should be given a choice on who and where they want to live their lives.
THANK YOU FOR CARING ABOUT BEAU !!!
MISSION BBH WILL NOT FAIL !!!!
