Mama's Little Helper

Mama had climbed up on the countertop to clean the windows above the sink. She left the chair she used to climb up next to the counter, so I decided to help her clean.

I'm such a good little bo... Oh wait, I almost forgot ... I'm such a good big boy!

Chew This!

Mama has spent a lot of time and money over the past 8 months looking for the perfect "chew" toy for me that I couldn't destroy in less than 5 minutes.

This past weekend she finally found a linked, hard plastic "Nylabone" that's supposed to have some type of bristles popping up to help clean my teeth. I don't know about that, but it's been 3 days and, while I've scraped up the edges a bit, I've yet to destroy it!

King of the Hill

Mama took me for a walk today. We ended up behind the houses in our development, where there's lots of dirt piled up from road construction.

It was kind of nice being King of the Hill (So much for the bath she gave me a few hours ago!).

You Had to Have Been There

This past weekend ... I think it was Saturday ... Mama kind of lost it. It was a beautiful weekend in Tucson, with temperatures in the 60's/70's. We were in the back yard playing.

Mama tossed a spongy-type ball across the grass and I went after it full speed ahead. When I got to the ball I tried to stop to pick it up, only I was going too fast. I ended up with my front paws planted on the grass and my back paws straight up in the air! I turned and looked at Mama to find her in a hysterical fit of laughter!

I'm not so sure what she found so funny about my "handstand". All I could think to do was lie on the grass and stare at her.

Big Boy

Mama took me to that "vet" place again yesterday. The vet stuck a needle in my neck and something in my nose! Mama said they were vaccines to protect me from Rabies and Distemper and Kennel Cough. She also said something about these vaccines being for adult dogs, not for puppies. I guess that's what she means when she says I went into the vet a puppy and came out a big boy.

Do the Hula

Now that Mama's done with laundry, I can use the collapsible basket as a hula hoop!

Laundry Day

Mama sure spends a long time lugging this thing around on Sundays. Usually it's full of clothes. Today it was full of me!
